Olivet Baptist Church.

Caring Souls Ministry


As servants of the Lord, the Caring Soul's Ministry demonstrates its Love for Christ through Outreach Ministry toward those we encounter in our community. Small, or large, this gesture of love is uplifting for those in need as well as those in service for the Lord.

Culinary


The Culinary Ministry coordinates and organizes food and beverage menus for special fellowship dinners, repast services, weddings and other church supported functions. Responsible for the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and supplies. Purchase necessary food items for annual events or other church events. Schedules the use of the kitchen and fellowship hall by other ministries within the church. Setup, clean and put away all kitchen supplies used during functions. We welcome you to a seat at the table

Deacon(ess)


The work of the Deacons and Deaconess is to extend the Pastor's ministry, to love and care for families, and to serve as ministers of mercy to the congregation

Dunamis


The Dunamis Enrichment Center is a newly formed faith-based, after-school mentoring and tutoring program for children between the ages 5 and 14 years old residing in Camden County. We are committed to providing the foundational support necessary to put children on a glidepath to academic excellence by reinforcing those critical thinking and organizational skills necessary for learning.
Our goal is to engage and empower the children in our program in creative ways of learning. The after-school activities include homework and tutoring assistance, exercise, game activities, music, art, and nutrition. Access to free internet service is also available.
In addition, we have extended our services to include partnering with Community Activist to serve the needs of the disenfranchised and senior citizen population.

Flower Club Ministry

About This Ministry: The Floral Ministry provides beauty both physically and spiritually to and for the members of Mt. Olivet.
We decorate the sanctuary by providing flowers both real and silk to encourage the members each Sunday of the month.
We have a "Everybody's Birthday" fundraiser to raise money to purchase plants during the year.
As a group, we travel to visit the sick and elderly monthly to encourage our membership.
The ministry was started by our current member Sis. Virginia Armstead, many, many years ago..

In the Winter we have a Poinsettia Sale

Mt. Olivet Choral Ministry

 Choral Pic About This Ministry: The Mt. Olivet Choral Ministry consists of 3 Choirs, the Gospel Choir, the Men's Choir, and the Children's Choir. Each Choir has a specific Sunday where they provide the music for that service. We have also traveled to other churches to spread the Gospel through Song.

MultiMedia Ministry

About This Ministry: The MultiMedia Ministry's primary goal is to use multiple medias to spread the Good News to EVERYONE.
-This includes sharing our Church Services, Sermons and Events through:
*Audio and Video Recordings,
*Live Streams on Facebook, and
*Virtual Meetings on ZOOM.
-We also Maintain and Update the Church Website and the Facebook Page and Group.

-Our Founder, Bro. Andrew Frederick, always believed in educating the congregation in new technologies. We continue this legacy by teaching those who have an interest in learning, as well as training any who have an interest in joining our ministry.
-As the Scripture says "How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?" Therefore, we want to make sure that there is a way for everyone to hear the Word of God!

Pastor's Aid Ministry

About This Ministry: The Pastor's Aid Ministry's primary purpose is to support our Pastor. We also organize the Pastor's Anniversary Event each year to commemorate this occasion and say "Thank You" to our Pastor for his hard work leading and inspiring the congregation.

Trustees Ministry

 TrusteePic President: Bro. Brian May
About This Ministry: The Trustees Ministry is the Church's Financial Department. Their duties include recording and managing the church's financial transactions and collecting Tithes and Offerings.
